Important: If the device appears used or comes with a pre-written seed or PIN, do not use it. Immediately report the issue to official support.

Step 3: Install Trézor Suite

Trézor Suite is the official desktop application to manage your crypto safely. Use it to install firmware, create your wallet, view balances, and send/receive funds. Download it directly by following the steps at Trézor.io/Start®.

Step 4: Connect and Initialize Your Device

Plug your Trézor® device into your computer using the provided cable. Open Trézor Suite and follow the on-screen instructions:

  1. Install or update the device firmware
  2. Create a new wallet
  3. Generate a 12- or 24-word recovery seed
  4. Write the seed down on the included recovery card
  5. Confirm the seed phrase using the device screen

Security Reminder: Never store your recovery seed digitally. Keep it offline and never share it with anyone.

Step 5: Set a PIN Code

Next, set up a secure PIN code. This protects your device from unauthorized access if it’s lost or stolen. Do not use common or guessable codes, and don’t share your PIN with anyone.

Step 6: Add Cryptocurrency Accounts

After setup, you can add supported cryptocurrency accounts such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others in Trézor Suite. This allows you to securely view balances, receive assets, and initiate transactions directly from your device.

Step 7: Sending and Receiving Crypto

To receive cryptocurrency, generate a receiving address using Trézor Suite and verify it on your device screen before sharing it. To send crypto, enter the details in Trézor Suite and confirm the transaction on the physical device.
